(Q)Where are the other departments?

(A) We are building this site everyday; if you have ever gone to Caputo’s you know we stock over 30,000 items.  We are bringing in new items and departments everyday.  If there is something that you would like that is not on the site yet, send an email to nat@shopcaputos.com and we will either get you a price or make it available online.

(Q) Why did we put this site up without all departments? 

(A) Customers have been asking when the site would be done.  We had a demand for our deli department, catering, bakery and produce, so we decided to answer that demand.  You will see other departments added and we are trying to do this as fast as possible.  Check back with us and watch the site grow everyday.

(Q) What is the best way to find out when departments are up and can be shopped?

(A) Go to My Caputo's Account and sign up.  We will email you with major changes to the site.  We will not send you junk mail; just inform you of major changes, sale items and specials.

(Q) Does it cost more to use shopcaputos.com vs. going to Caputo’s Fresh Markets?

(A) The answer is yes and no.  Items in ShopCaputos.com do cost a little more.  We provide services to save you time and convenience.  We use professional shoppers to select your items.  Next we package your goods to have them ready for pick or delivery to your home or business*.  We also create an account for you to view all purchases made via ShopCaputos.com. 

You will be able to view all transaction made using order status.  This will allow you to better budget and keep track of all purchases made.  Think of it this way, the extra cost is less then a normal tip to a waiter/waitress in a restaurant (for store pickup).  The time saving not waiting at the deli, bakery and checkout line will more then make up for the extra cost.

(Q) How can you deliver to my home or business?

(A)  We use UPS to deliver to your home or business.  Below are some suggestions on how to save money using this service?

  • View the UPS map.  If you are in the yellow or brown zones use ground service.  We pack your product in Styrofoam with cold packs on the bottom and top of the product.  In the yellow zone it will get to you the day after we ship it to you.  In the brown zones it will get to you 2 days after we ship it to you.  The product will stay fresh for at least 2 day in our shipping container environment.  Once you get it we suggest you use it within the next couple of days or freeze it.
  • Have products shipped to your office.  This will save you at least $1.25 per box (this is what UPS charges us for residential delivery). 

Non-perishable always use ground.  It you do not need it for a few days, use ground and save money.

(Q) When can I pickup an order at a store?

(A) Store pickup orders placed between 7:00a.m. and 5:00p.m. please allow us 5 business hours to pick and process your order. 

Store pickup orders placed between 5:00p.m. and 10:00p.m. can be picked up the following business day after 9:00a.m.

Store pickup orders placed between 10:00p.m. and 7:00a.m. can be picked up the following business day after 12:00p.m.

Don't forget to let us know when you will be in to pickup your order!  Use the "special instructions" box located when you process your order.

*Allow 48hrs for Catering Orders to be prepared
